Things you need to know:

Our Apostille Agents are certified and have

taken the training necessary to assist you.

 

The amount of time for processing the

documents is a “Good Faith Estimate”

and can be affected by processing

time, mailing time, the time it takes the

Secretary of State to Apostille,

inclement weather and other Force

Majeure conditions.  It is

recommended that you do not

schedule travel or other appointments

until the completed documents have

been received. 

An Apostille Agent is not permitted to

order certain documents on your

behalf.   Copies and/or informational

Copies of documents will not be

accepted, only “certified copies” will be

Apostilled. 

An Apostille It is commonly used ito

refer to the legalization of a document

for international use under the terms

of the 1961 Hague Convention.   If the

country of destination is not a Member

of The 1061 Hague Convention,

obtaining Embassy Legalization must

be obtained.

An apostille is sealed and stamped by

the Secretary of State and

authenticated by the official who has

signed your document.  The State will

verify the originality of the document. 

Documents issued by the County

Clerk, State Registrar, Health

Department, and Superior Court, will

have an official seal of a public official

who is authorized to sign the

document. 

Court certified documents will

have an original signature signed by the

Deputy Clerk of the Court. 

A notarized document should

contain the seal, signature, and notarial

wording.
